The building / structure style of the new Minto Condo is going to have an art deco flare.
What immediately came to mind in relevance to this era is the great gatsby style of clothing, makeup and hair that people wore during the late 20s & early 30s. As a key makeup and hair artist, it is my job to translate the directors vision but also keep the looks fresh, innovative and modern. I learned how to create period specific looks while in school but its still important to research, save references and tweak the looks to suit the atmosphere & wardrobe on the day of on set.
